NoMa North of Mahler
With its completion the NoMa House has become quite an eye-catcher right in the centre of Amsterdam’s financial district Zuidas. The corner building with its refined architecture and elegant appearance offers generous space and an attractive working environment.
The façade with more than 6.500 m2 of natural stone, Jura Noce, Jura Travertin and Jura Cream in combination with tall glass windows presents itself with an inviting sight.The honed slabs in thickness 4 cm, some of them with a size of up to 2,0 m2 per piece, were produced with anchor holes, mitre cuts and eased edges.
In the building itself more than 2.800 m2 of Jura Travertin, Jura Noce and Jura Cream slabs with honed finish in 2 cm thickness were installed as floors, interior facades, stairs and skirtings.» read more

The works on the new employment centre for young people in Bielefeld are now completed.
The architecture of the seven-storey building with its large entrance area looks representative and inviting.

Jobcenter Arbeitplus Bielefeld
The first building in the „Quartier No. 1“ district in the city of Bielefeld was a six storeyed office building, which in the meantime houses the Jobcenter Arbeitplus. According to the plans of the architectural firm Gabrysch the building with its distinctive shape was given a light coloured natural stone facade: over 4.000 m2 of VeroStone Jura Cream, honed C 60 with a thickness of 3 cm were installed. A large part of the slabs were produced with anchor holes, the visible edges honed.» read more
Located in the middle of Cologne, only a walking distance from the Cathedral, is the Gerling Quartier, which after its reassignment with residential buildings, offices, shops and restaurants, has become a lively place in the inner city again.
The new design of the former Gerling corporate headquarters had to do justice to the demands of the preservation order for this historic area.
In order to create the same visual look as before, natural stone was used for the facades: VeroStone Jura Beige and to set accents Shell Limestone Fossil Smoke and Fossil Melange.
The slabs for walls and columns in thickness 3, 4 of 5 cm produced with anchor holes and mitre cuts, some of them had honed visible edges or false joints. Those for the soffits had rake cuts and were bolted with Fischer dowels.» read more
Scandic Continental Hotel
Located in the centre of Stockholm near the Citybanan Station, the largest and busiest terminal in Sweden, the „Stockholm Continental“ rises into the sky: a mulitifunctional building with apartments, a hotel and a shopping and service area for commuters. The exterior façade of this spectacular building, designed by 3XN Architects, is clad in VeroStone® Jura Cream. The slanted sides of the four sections are emphasized by large trapezoid slabs, whose forms were elaborately crafted by CAD operated bridge saws. These slabs have a diamond honed surface, the reveals around the windows show a wide gratine surface. The fixing of the slabs was done on a substructure with Fischer undercut anchors.» read more
With a total quantity of about 250 m2 the shell limestone VeroStone Fossil Smoke covers almost the entire exterior façade of the cubic-shaped structure of the villa “Home Silvester”. The eye-catching texture and patterns of this natural stone are mainly created by fossilized shells or their fragments.
The standard size of the slabs for this project is 150 x 60 cm ( height / width ) at most. They are fixed as a curtain-type, ventilated façade on the VeroStone Massive system. The thickness of the slabs varies between 3 and 4 cm, since the architectural design of PurPur Architektur gives structure to the façade by alternating elevated and recessed vertical elements.» read more
Lindner Hotel - me and all hotels
Clad in a façade of VeroStone Jura Cream combined with other components, a “me and all hotels” of the Lindner Hotels AG was opened in in Duesseldorf in October 2016.
The design was created by the local architectural office gna grimbacher nogales architekten gmbh, the overall façade was planned and assembled by the metal construction company Gramon in Torgau.
The 3 cm thick cladding panels were fixed with undercut anchors on a substructure with an agraffe system.» read more
Turmcarrée am Eschenheimer Turm
Multifunctional apartment and business complex in the middle of Frankfurt / Main with offices, accommodations, a fitness centre and supermarket. The six-storeyed building is clad in Shell Limestone, the base area with arcades and shop fronts invites pedrestrians to linger. For the exterior façade of the building, which blends easily into the surrounding neighbourhood and enhances it at the same time, 2.500 m2 of honed VeroStone® Fossil Smoke were used, for the interior another 500 m2 for floors and stairs.» read more
Byrom Point Student Accomodation
Byrom Point is a mixed use building with bed spaces for students and stores on ground level. The structure of the facade is defined by colours and natural stone, therefore reducing its bulky form and integrating it into the landscape. The light colour of the sandblasted Verostone Jura Gold creates a nice contrast to the surrounding elements.» read more

The cube-shaped building is located in the midst of the Jura quarries, in close vicinity of VeroStone, who provided significant support to the builders. The Northern and Southern side have an impressive natural stone facade in a combination of VeroStone® Jura Cream, Jura Gold und Fossil Smoke.
Jura and Shell Limestone tiles in various sizes were glued to the Sto thermal insulation composite system “Sto Therm Vario”. With that the modular stone / thermal insulation composite system was realized for the first time with slab sizes up to 100 cm length to a height of 12 metres. The various shades and surface finishes (sandblasted and honed) of the natural stones created an architecturally impressive yet at the same time functional façade.

In the popular district of Spinningfields in Salford, Greater Manchester the new Premier Inn Hotel occupies a corner position on Irwell Street and Stanley Street, next to the river Irwell. The seven-storeyed building has a façade of red sandstone called “Desert Red”, combined with black charcoal brick and glass. The 2 cm thick honed sandstone panels of the façade were fabricated according to cutting lists, some of them with rake cuts. The façade is installed with the rainscreen system by Generix.» read more

In the heart of Kuwait City the Al Hamra Tower rises towards the sky, with 413 m in height one of the tallest buildings in the world with a façade of natural stone.
The Southern Wall is designed in a way to minimize the effects of the solar radiation.
The main areas are clad with Jura Limestone slabs in 4 cm thickness, mounted on Fischer rail-system, the surface sandblasted and brushed.
In the curved corner regions of the tower a Jura Limestone mosaic was applied.
