The project developer and investor Cityraum GmbH, a cooperation of three well established real property developers, are realizing a new urban quarter for living and working, the Berliner Carrée in the publishing quarter in Darmstadt.
Already completed is “ALEX”, an office building, which presents itself as an interesting eye catcher.
The exterior façade made of VeroStone Jura Cream natural stone in combination with floor to ceiling windows and its long stretched shape give the building a certain lightness despite its size. The 4 cm thick façade panels with honed surface were provided with over 18.000 pcs anchor holes during production in the factory. Part of the panels received mitre or rake cuts, some of them honed edges.
