With a total quantity of about 250 m2 the shell limestone VeroStone Fossil Smoke covers almost the entire exterior façade of the cubic-shaped structure of the villa “Home Silvester”. The eye-catching texture and patterns of this natural stone are mainly created by fossilized shells or their fragments.
The standard size of the slabs for this project is 150 x 60 cm ( height / width ) at most. They are fixed as a curtain-type, ventilated façade on the VeroStone Massive system. The thickness of the slabs varies between 3 and 4 cm, since the architectural design of PurPur Architektur gives structure to the façade by alternating elevated and recessed vertical elements.
